Wedding Frequently Asked Questions:

I like your photography and would like more pricing information. What do I do next?

Great! Fill out the contact section of this website. We will verify that your date is open. If it is, Meg will reply with a link our wedding investment guide.  If your date is booked already, we'll send a reply with some referrals to other talented photographers in the area.

I've reviewed your pricing and would like to set up a consult to see your work in person and check out all your cool products. How to I go about setting that up?

Super duper! Send Meg an email or call 616.334.1504 set the consultation up.

I'm ready to book you to photograph my wedding. What do I need to do?

To book your wedding date a signed contract and booking fee (1/3 of your wedding package total) must be received.  Dates are not held for couples with out this step, so the first to return a signed contract with the booking fee gets the date.  The booking fee is non-refundable.  This fee is to retain Meg's services for your wedding and to turn away other brides that have your wedding date.

I don't see a coverage package that fits exactly what I want. Will you customize one for me?

Certainly! During your consult we can go over your specific needs and customize your coverage and/or display options to what works best for you.

Some photographers really push for us to see eachother prior to the ceremony - so the majority of the portraits can be done before hand. What is your preference?

Each couple is different.  We've done it both ways and our advice is to plan ahead for what you want.  Some couples just aren't relaxed before the ceremony and only you know your personality best.  We would much rather wait to take those together portraits when the both of you are more relaxed after the ceremony.
If your time frame is limited, doing portraits prior to the ceremony is certainly the way to ensure you are not rushing through your portraits so you can get to your party on time.  If time isn't a factor and you'd prefer not see eachother before the ceremony (or are the anxious type)  - just be sure to plan enough time for portraits between the ceremony and the reception.   Don't forget to factor in travel time if you want to stop at another destination spot for portraits.

Do you offer digital negatives?

Yes. Both digital negatives (i.e basic image  file with out special art effects or re-touching) and enhanced art files (i.e. touched up and given our artistic polish) are available for purchase.
